The clear waters and pristine reef around St Lucia offer a wide variety of dives to suit all ,and the list of sites below have been recommended by the local dive experts. The Pinnacles: Situated across Soufriere Bay from the Pitons, four spectacular natural monuments rise from 300 feet to within several feet of the surface. Fairyland: Fairyland is a drift dive outside the Anse Chastanet cove and is subject to occasional strong currents. The plateau slopes from 40 to 60 feet.Superman's Flight: A sheer wall descending to 1000ft below the Petit Piton, this dive gets it's name because of the strong currents. "Lesleen M": Sunk in 1986 in 60ft near Anse Cochon, this 165-foot freighter has become a man made reef festooned with sea life. Anse la Raye Reef: Sloping gently from the beach this popular dive is an ideal location for novices and photographers alike. Virgin's Cove: Near the "Lesleen M", this cove features a semi-circular reef wall, levelling out 45 to 55 feet below. The Wall: Near Anse La Raye village, The Wall is one of the finest drift dives in St. Lucia. Anse Chastenet Reef: Further south, lies the Anse Chastanet reef, a protected marine park. Small shallow caves are home to a great variety of marine life, and the constant presence of divers over the years has made the local population unafraid of human contact. Local fishermen are banned from fishing here so their only enemies are themselves. Devil's Hole: "Le Trou du Diable" or "Devil's hole" is also a fascinating location. Between 40 and 60 feet, you'll find a steep slope with large barrel sponges and well developed coral heads.
